Six crows used to hang about in a noisy gaggle in the trees near Peter’s studio shed. Two of them are hiding inside, one upside down in a trunk, another squinting through a hole. Peter’s poor mouse, hiding in the tree trunk, will find little peace with this raucous crowd. “P&A” is inscribed around a heart. There is no inner carving or hallmarks. |
